Teens 4 Tots

I just thought I'd write about a little thing we're doing at our school. It's called Teens 4 Tots. It's really a neat thing. My teacher does it. We collect money (our goal is 6,000 thing year) and buy coats, toys, clothes for kids in need right here in our own city. One year they made as much as 10,000 dollars. One year, they even had some lady (who happened to drive through our city and see a bucket) send 4 boxes, each full of just enough bears/clothes/pillows/blankets, etc for each of the kids. It's amazing. It touches your heart.
A friend and I were actually gonna start going around our neighborhood sometime and collect money. I'm really excited.
Well, I'm bored. Hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend! I love having a 3 day weekend. There's a fun festival going on up here, but today's its raining. Poo.
By the way, baklava is amazing. And guess what? Went ice skating last night and i DIDN'T fall once. Yeahhh I'm awesome. :)

P.S- I cleaned out my closet today, and I realized how much I have. And here's 2 and 3 year olds who some don't have homes, some don't have beds, and one time a kid wanted sheets for there bed. For Christmas. Aren't little kids supposed to be asking for like Polly Pockets (I loved those things), baby dolls (my obsession as a kid) and spider-man crap? If you want to really think about what kids don't have...check out this site. It will make you think different about donating stuff you don't need.
