I do.

First, let's clear the title up quick. I am not getting married. Frankly, I'm way too young (both legally and...me wanting to :P). Heck, I'm not even the age where I'm frantically looking for a relationship.

No, I'm talking about Ben Breedlove.

First off, if you don't know who I'imi talking about--or have heard the name but don't know who he is---the best way to explain is for you to watch the videos. They explain themselves. The videos only 7 minutes, and it's worth watching.
Part one.
Part two.

---
After I'm assuming you watched it...you might get my title now. At the  end, he asks if you believe and writes "I do." Now, if you're on facebook you can go to Ben Breedlove's numerous "Like" pages and see man "I do." posts on them. If you didn't know better you'd assume it was like a wedding page...heh. Sorry that's lame.

Anyways, let's get to my point. All Ben wanted was to be normal, but he lived his life to the fullest. He cheated death three times, not many can say that. But finally, his time had come. On Christmas...coincidence much?

It's sad how people don't realize the true meaning of Christmas. Yes, I'm on my brand new laptop. (:D) But really, people forget that "Jesus is the Reason for the Christmas Season." And being with your family and friends is what Christmas is about. Keep Christ in Christmas. "Live the Cause.": I went to a church event a while back and that was the message. THE Cause--spreading the Word and love of Christ.

When I was in 5th grade, my classmate died. Yikes, that was a scary class meeting. We had grown apart a little, but she was still a pretty good friend. The last time I remember talking to her--before her week or two off of the flu which turned into a rare diabetes-related attack--she had told me her parents were being divorced. I just remember her trying to make the best of it, being optimistic.
"Well, I'll get double Christmas presents." Her name was Kailey.

We all got braclets with her name in her memory, and I still wear mine. I remember her funeral. When I saw her...the first tears broke through my shock.

I could go on and on, but my point is life is spontaneous. Some are good, family memories. Some might be tragic news you were not expecting. Live life to the fullest. Don't waste time being mad. Replace love, not hate. Help others. Shine your light in the darkness. Cherish the time you have. Spread your love to those who don't have it.
And most importantly....Live the Cause.

RIP Ben.
RIP Kailey.
I do. <3

______________ (Helping feels good)

Like my title? My creative wheels refuse to spin tonight.
It's FRIDAY! FRIDAY! Gettin' down on...
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Ah, Rebecca has become a legend in our sad world where we get entertainment and blow our sparse allowance all on backward robes and rubber bands that shape.
I know this is really random (I was looking through my friend's blogs and noticed something about a "bookline" --pun for skyline /)_-) and realized, how many books on our shelves have we actually read? We collect them and stuff, but theres a good amount I have that I haven't touched yet. I keep telling myself I'll get around to it, but I never really have...
*sigh*
ANYWAYS, how about dem....
...
^^Shows how clueless I am in  sports. I don't even know a team that's doing well at the moment.^^
I might watch The Help tonight...oh the joy of a quick $1 (well, isn't it $1.20 now?) for a movie. Redbox <3
OH! I know what I can meantion...today we had our final assembly for a charity I will not name. We raised about 8500 dollars (just us 8th graders) and bought presents and bikes and ad kitchen sets and mini basketball hoops for 17 of these little needy 3 and 4 year olds. Pretty darn good considering we hae 2 months and nothing but a hundred or so 8th graders in certain classes. The teacher who started this for her classes has done it for a good amount of years now, and we were the highest ever (by 20 bucks). It was so cute, watching the kids sing "We wiss ysou a merry Christtsmass!" And at the beginning a little kid came up to lead us in the Pledge and heres how he did it:
"I pwedge allgience, to de flag..."
"I don't know these words."
It was so cute!
And after school we had our first read-through/rehersal for our 8th grade musical: Suessical the Musical!
I did it when i was 1st grade, a jungle creature and a fish. I was too short to be a Who:/ Now I'm a Who, though. Ha!
Yeah. It's pretty fun music.
I'm kinda tired of writing.
" A snowman came to life, that would be creeeepppy...santa clause snuck in my house...that would be creeeepy. It's really weird, its like a fake beard!" I don't like Fred that much, but I love that song. It's catching. (it was just on Nick)
Watch it, not even kidding.

And...off.

And The Results Are In....

So it's November 30th. And--as if people seriously care--the big question now awaits us.
Did I make NaNoWriMo?

HECK YES!
I won NaNo freaking WriMo! First try! Booyah!
I hit the 50k mark yesterday. Is my novel completely finished? No it is not. But I'm only about 1000k more away, just wrapping it up.
But, I still completely the challenge.
Yeah buddy! :DD
I'm sick of writing though. For probably a good few weeks. So, yes I won. Congrats to everyone who won! It's not per say hard (in my opinion) just a bit time consuming. If you didn't make it? Don't sweat. You tried. Just try again next year.
Yes i called my friend screaming into the phone when the 50,000 number filled the bottom left corner of my screen. The word count on NaNoWriMo.org was 6 off, but that's not a big biggie. It was 100 off for my friend. Just a different program.
I don't care. I DID IT! AH!
Yep.
Bye.

Haven't blogged in awhile...

Well, I'm still alive. Don't worry. I'm not dead.
Nano hasn't killed me...yet.
I'm still up to date! I'm so proud of myself! Currenly, I'm only a bit over 100 away from today's quota. I might write more, considering I'm a bit     tired and not feeling 100% today. Not goign to be out dinking around anyway...
Anyways, hope everyone in America had a great Thanksgiving! Christmas is coming closer and closer! There's already presents under our tree upstairs. :)
Not much to say....last Friday (not the last one but...the 18th) I had my writing buddy come over. We seriously stayed up till midnight (she forced me) to finish our word quota. (We had spent a long time working on our TAG Civics project). Did I already say that? If I did I apologize.
Yeah...I'm procrastinating. I still can't believe I'm only about 5 K words away..and a novel is born! Well possibly. I might write a bit over in December, but as long as I hit 50k in November so what?
I might hvae to make a quota so I don't stop the writing. I want to finish a novel!
Once I hit December, I'll start longer blog posts. Once we're done with NaNo, a buddy and a cousin and I are gonna do a co-story. That'll be intresting.
Anyway....back to writing. Good luck to anyone who's doing it. Hang in there!

Here it is...

Well, let's get this done before I get caught up in NaNo-ing...last night I posted that I'd be writing a blog at a later time, when i was on something other than a kindle. And here it is...
Well the last two Monday's my NaNo Buddy and I have been meeting up and "burning some creative energy", by attempting to write. Key word: attempting. It started out with looking at bats that looked like ballons...
We normally only get a few hundred words done, maybe a page. (I'm normally writing, and she'd have her netbook, or we'll both have our notebooks).
Well, last Monday was an interesting day. We wrote a little--while swinging on their kiddy swings--and then went over to this field and raked some leaves; which her family and neighbors had spent awhile using tarps and caring all their leaves over to the area. And we starting grabbing sticks and shouting harry potter spells at the leaves and jumping in. Avada Kedavra--a killing spell. Yes, we were killing the already-dead pile of leaves. We're 8th graders. xD Blame her, not me. She's the one who brought up this quote:
"I used to run around acting like harry potter. But now I can't raelly get away with that, so I put all my creative energy into writing."
She has a big wooded-area around her house.
And, mid-way as I was laying in a pile of leaves I looked up and saw her little neighbor staring at us. *Sigh*  She had a popsicle.
Well, somewhere in their she tried showing me this tree trick, which involves climbing a thin tree, scooting toward the end of the branch and pulling it down. She'd then jump off and let the branch swing back up. Kinda fun as she takes a trip down to the ground in mid-air, via branch.
Well, the first time she tried she got stuck. Quite funny, actually. A goood friend would've rushed over and helped her--a BEST and TRUE friend (like me) takes out their phone to get a picture while laughing hysterically.
Thing is, about a month ago I gave her an IOU for her birthday (I got her a sing-a-ma-jig that wasn't delivered yet--yes one of those 3+ Fisher Price toys. We both have one :D) and on the card I wrote a little poem, mocking the non-rhyming card she had given her mom a few weeks before.
It went something like this:
Beginning:"You knew this was coming, after your moms..."
Ending: "I love you buddyx3, but I would laugh if you fell out of a tree."
And she refused to fall out of a tree for me! I was just trying to rhyme. Buddy buddy buddy (buddy x3) refers to author buddies. I can't remember the middle.
Annyways, that was funny. XD I still have a picture of her dangling. She fell, but she only slightly hurt her ankle. She was okay..not like it was very far. If she was in a more dangerous situation I would've helped her but...yeah.
Then we went on to play on a wooden swing and a horribly putten (is that a word? Probably not) up tire swing by a bunch of kids. It touched the ground. Yeah, but I found a fun way to play on it. Either push your friend ever so slightly when she finally gets it to stand straight up with her on top and watch her fall (I'm so nice) --but later get pushed off yourself. OR get on and tilt to the side. Then you swing around on the ground--WARNING::You're butt will get dirty.
And chasing her cats. Ah, our Monday's.
Her step-sister and neighbors walked down to a really close Kmart and brought up a big bag of FunYuns and delicioso chocolate. :) Yes, if there's a word in Spanish that you don't know (I'm in Spanish |) just had o! :D
Well tomorrow's another one--but we're over at my house this time. More interesting times await.
It helps you get through the long month of November.
~Jae
PS- Don't worry, we're sane. No humans were hurt in the making of this Monday.
PS-I hit the 20k mark yesterday for my novel :) :D Oh the little things. I'll be halfway done on Tuesday...I'm 2/5 s done this time. And we're 1/3 through November. :)

Dead Computer...Thank Goodness for Backups

Well first off...its 10 pm and im lying in bed typing this blog on my kindle. Its the black 3g keyboard one. It was the nesest version but they just let out 3 new ones.
Anywayys, my computer died. Bummer huh? Especially during freaing NaNowriMo! Thats like the worst possible time. I mean really! It died a few days ago...but i refuse to give up this task. I'm going pretty strong, reaching the needed amount everday (times 1667 by the date...today we needed 20002 or so...)
Yep. So suck it up and use the other computers and laptops till the new one i get for Christmas ;)
So not only is the stor on my dead hardrive and flashdrive...im emailing it to myself everday for a second copy (b/ im not so sure the dead one counts...which has oher stories and more-completed ones and pictues on it.)
Yeah yeah yea...i need to stop whining.
I have a fun story about tree falling nd such from our mondays of november...where my writer buddy and i burn our creatve energy...by writing together. so not listening to he lazy song, jumping in a huge pile of leaves while shouting harry potter spells, eating funyuns and taking obsessive pictures of ones self. pshh...never.
anyway thats for another day. my fingers are hurting...
anyways...good night fellow bloggers.
~Jae
ps. sorry again for punctuation ;)

10K mark. Woot!

Pretty self explanatory. I'm 1/5 done. :D But I'm frankly too tired to do a happy dance.
Today the minimum amount would be 10,002 and currency I have 10,067. I'll probably write more later.
Sorry but this blog is gonna be super short. More like a comment, cause frankly I have other homework (which I  don't think the teacher's will count "I was doing blog posts and writing for NaNoWriMo!" as an excuse)
I'm going to update my word count proudly and then go learn how solutions form. Yay.
If I don't get distracted by a recorder from 4th and 5th grade...
~Jae
P.S.-Any other NaNo's? How's your progress?

3-Days! 5,000 mark!

Okay, this is going to be a short blog post because frankly I'm just the itty-bitty bit tired of writing at the moment. But I'm, as I write this, at 5, 627. :D
I haven't done long periods of writing inawhile, adn I'm feeling pretty dang accomplished.
I turned on Don't Stop Believin'. :D
Pssh. Nooo I didn't do a happy dance. :)
Sorry, I'm really giddy. Don't worry...I'm still sane. Just excited. Yeah.
Still a long ways to go though.
Any other fellow Nanowrimos...Write or Die is helpful. Don't wory...you don't actually die. Scroll down though, and use the internet app one. It makes you write by taking away your word goal if you don't. And you only get one pause. :)
Also, this excel worksheet helps :) (Thanks KT!)
I'm 11% done. :DDD
I can't stop smiling. Seriously.
Well, I'm logging out for the day. Adios/Chao!
~Jae
P.S.: :DDDDDDDDD I am the ice cream man! Running over fat kids i with my van. They want ice cream cones, but all they'll get is broken bones.
Sorry, we're playing Iron Man in Jazz Band. :)

Nanowrimo

Well, tomorrow's November. A lot of you are probably happy. One month closer to the holidays. Some might be sad, lots of snow coming. Me? Freaking out. I'm about to give up my social life for a whole month, what are your plans?
Some of you might've heard of it, or not unless you have a friend who just dragged you into it this summer (like me). Nanowrimo...Na(tional) No(vermber) Wr(iting) Mo(nth). Prounced Naahh no! wri (as in write..wri...not ree) mo (not moo). Nanowrimo is where you try to write a 50k novel in exactly one month --start's at midnight (tonight..or tomorrow...whatever) and ends the 30th at 11:59 pm.
Anyways, my friend who dragged me into this and I are going to try to finish our wages. Which include eating dog food, no Facebook for a week (TORTURE), ect. Stuff to make us WANT to finish our goal.
But frankly, I'm freaking out. To achieve 50,000 words in 30 days...you have to write 1666.6666666667 words a day. Yeah...this summer I tried writing 1,000 a day and got bored. And my story line's not all the way done, either. I mean, I have the basics. But not characters, their names, appearance, or if I'm adding prologues/epilogues and HOW I'm going to start it. Gah. I dragged my cousin into it after my friend got me to agree (we're all writers) so I won't be the ONLY big anti-social caterpillar. (yep, creative huh? Social little butterfly...cheesy I know.)
Any other fellow Nano's? If so, comment and give my tips. This is my first year. AH!
There's something called Script Frenzy in April too, which is the same organization but you write a 100 page script in the month of April. I'm thinking (if my novel turns out alright) to turn that into a script. Then, out of the scripts done in our little group of writing buddies) we can choose one to make a small movie about. Yeah. We're nerds.
Anyways, I better get started on preparing for it. *sigh* I'm freaking out, if I haven't meantioned. See you on the other side! (hopefully)
~Jae
P.S.- I'll probably get distracted and write frustrated blogs on here. Or I'll try to stay away for the whole month. So either way....later!
P.P.S.-Just realized I put Mo(uth) instead of Mo(nth) ...that's embarrassing.
P.P.P.S.-Wow I was freaking out to much. Forgot to mention HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I've grown out of trick or treating, but I'll dress up! Our school didn't let us dress up !! For the first time ever! D: OUTRAGE!

Cheetos-A pressing matter

Cheetos. One of America's favorite snack. We all enjoy eating them and licking the cheese off our fingers when we're done. We all love to sit and look at Chester Cheetah while we munch on these tasty snacks. But what are these things we call CHEETOS? *holds up bag dramatically*
There's a debate over  cheetos that started with my friends and I a couple of years ago, end of 6th grade. And has just recently been revisited. (One of my friends has extremely good memory and thinks of the randomness things that none of us even remember---yet she'll forgot simple stuff. Psh.)
So, what is this pressing matter you may ask?
CHEETOS-
Chips or puffs?
Yes, I can practically hear you laughing at the moment.  A lot of you are thinking puffs I bet. Because, frankly they are.
The regular ones.

(This is off topic, but one picture was a girl in a bathtub of cheetos. DUDE I WANNA DO THAT! :D)
But, what would you call these puppies?
 Are they...
a) puffs
b) chips
c) unidentified snack object
d) I honestly don't give a crap.
If you picked d, or e (which in your mind is probably "Is this person okay??") it does matter!

Okay?
They're foudn by chips, but ARE they chips? Or shoudl the governemtn make a whole new catergory for them...
Crunches.
Yep.
*sigh*
I am NOT going to do this for a persuasive speech. No way. People'll think I'm crazy.
If you want another opinion...here's my friends. We were the ones debating. I thought they were chips, she thought they were puffs. Now I agree regular ones are puffs, but what about the crunchy ones?
We actually gave our 6th grade science teacher a list of reasons supporting both sides. Ah, I wonder if she still has it.
Oh goodness. /)_-
